      Sales Interview

      7 Apr 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at XPO

      Interview

If you look professional they will pretty much hire you. It helps to have industry experience but it's not necessary. Most likely have group interview with 2-3 people. Very casual interview experience.

      Interview

Entered building and not greeted by the receptionist. Waited 15 minutes past interview time to be taken back. Interview was interrupted multiple times. Overall a very different interview experience and felt as though I was a burden.

      Sales Interview

      9 Aug 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at XPO

      Interview

Very misleading. Corporate recruiter told me there was no non-compete or non-solicitation contract. I would have never accepted a face to face interview knowing that. I specifically asked him and have it in writing that they don't require it. I spent 4 hours of my time taking what was the equivalent of a high school aptitude test which had nothing to do with selling. Then I went to the face to face and discovered what was advertised as a high level sales position was actually just an inside sales job. What the recite said the compensation range would be was actually about $30k less than the max they were actually going to offer. Why they mislead me and wasted my time I'll never understand. When I discovered there is actually a non-compete they refused to provide a copy in advance and said they don't release such documents to non employees and they added that I was no longer being considered for the position. The shade was big here. Shadier than a redwood tree.

      Question 1

The cheesiest antiquated question ever: What kind of book of business can you bring to the table? (makes me cringe just writing it)
