As is common, having a referral is the fastest way to get noticed. Once your resume has been reviewed by a non-technical HR personnel, you will undergo an informal phone interview, which consists of some very basic (but necessary!) technical questions, such as: what is DHCP, what is DNS, how do you check/check IP address in windows from command line, etc. If you can answer these basic network-related questions, you'll most likely move onto the web-based personality test. If invited for an in-person interview, you'll travel to their offices in Oakland where you'll meet the COO, a potential colleague, and your potential manager. An offer, if all goes well, will follow in a few days.
Over all, the process was very quick, relative to most others, but didn't feel rushed. You will learn a lot just by interviewing and you will appreciate the attention to detail. All interactions with the company was pleasant and professional.
TIP: Get a referral or submit your resume in-person when they attend College events. They tend to coordinate with any Information System clubs on campus. If they don't go to your campus yet, you can coordinate with them to come down!
