Each stage of the process was disorganized and unclear, and they played VERY loose with the job requirements—when I tried to point out that they weren’t doing things by the book, they stonewalled me. I hope that the district or state implements a hiring/equity audit for its academic positions. Document everything if you are a candidate here.
