I applied online. I interviewed at Zebra Technologies (Lincolnshire, IL) in July 2017
Interview
They schedule you to come in for a 2.5 hour block of interviews, four interviews. The first and last interviews aren't technical, rather with managers, the first giving you a really good description of the job. The middle two interviews are more technical in nature, but more along the lines of "describe some projects you've done" rather than "write code on this whiteboard". The last interview is with a manager, more of a "get to know you" kind of talk.
All told, the process is relatively painless.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given a piece of code, read it and give the output. How could you fix this code to output as intended?
There are 5 interviewers in 2 rounds of interview. A lot of technical questions. Very professional and give patience to answer my doubt. A smooth and nice interview so far.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zebra Technologies in May 2008
Interview
Applied through campus website. Three round interviews, HR, technical person and manager. HR just asked available date, desired salary and some company culture like catching up deadlines. Technical interview asks something on my resume and a few question about wireless communication. I also got some question from manager but didn't answer well. Like the "violate" keyword in c/c++. Did not get offer. Informed me about two weeks later.
