I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at iHeartMedia (Dallas, TX) in July 2013
Interview
I was initially contacted by an internal recruiter for Clear Channel and answered some basic questions regarding my qualifications / skills / experience. The first phone interview was clearly an initial screen. There was an emphasis to learn as much about Clear Chanel as possible for my future interviews. The only surprising question they asked here was my salary expectations, which I figured would be later in the interview process.
After the phone interview I was asked to do a panel interview which consisted of meeting with a HR Manager and 2 other Analysts. Interview style was very open ended and conversational. I got a standard tour after the interview.
I thanked all the people I met with and let the recruiter know how the interviews went. The recruiter then told me that the feedback was very positive and that I was to meet with the Senior Compensation Exec.
My interview with the Senior Compensation Exec mostly consisted of questions I had for him. Which would be very challenging if you had not of studied up on Clear Channel prior to the interview. My overall feeling of his perception of me was lukewarm after the interview.
