Focused Support LLC is a small software company based in Logan, UT, with additional offices in Columbia, MD and Huntsville, AL. We design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions for the US Government and other customers with a focus on operational suitability. We are looking for an experienced software developer for a full-time ONSITE position at the customer location near Tysons, VA.

This position must be worked on site. There is NO HYBRID or work from home.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using various programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Typescript, C#, Kotlin, and others
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues reported by users or identified during testing
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in software development

Qualifications:
- ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance REQUIRED
- FS Poly REQUIRED, or offer will be contingent on obtaining a FS Poly (we can sponsor it)
- Experience with a modern object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#
- Experience with modern web design paradigms, tools, and languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, etc.
- Experience using software development tools such as Eclipse, VSCode, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to listen to end users and implement feedback
- Flexibility to quickly adjust to the changing needs and priorities of a small, rapidly growing business
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
- 6-8 years related experience in software development

Preferred:
- Active FS Polygraph
- Experience with Angular, Elastic Search, Kibana, and Kafka
- Experience with a modern object-oriented language such as Kotlin, or C#
- Experience using software development tools such as Eclipse, VSCode, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with geospatial tools and technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
