Advice to Management
Don't hire based on PHD or MBA mainly but hire based on past accomplishments (for non-college grads). Improve full-time interview process as 10% of the Mangers time is used to hire and reject most applicants and interviews. Former contractors should be rated by past teams and hired by hiring manager no 5 hour loop just a one hour interview.
Make a list of the top 5 issues delaying projects and come up with a company wide solution. Improve communication between groups. Managers maintain weekly team calls just one hour is enough. Keep contractors who do well why so much turn over? Balance bar raising with work accomplished. If your team member does triple the others does he need a PHD? Balance the work load some are doing heavy loads others complete much less work. Bring past good contractors back they probably will be even better after the 3 month break...!!!
