    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hays (Manchester, England (UK)) in April 2020.

    Interview

Relatively straight forward: A telephone interview - followed by an in person interview with the internal recruitment manager - then a meeting with my "would be" line managers. I was then offered a role after this meeting

    Interview Questions

    • Cant remember phone/recruiter interview questions other than the general "why recruitment?" "why us?" "Proudest achievement?"

With the managers I was given a scenario: You have a job and are looking for candidates and find two. One (Call him A) who you have known for years and have a personal relationship with but would be over budget. The other (B) you have just come across, is in several processes, would be under budget but is perfectly capable for the role. Which one do you push in?   1 Answer
