I worked at McKinsey & Company full-time (More than 3 years)
Outstanding people calibre - smart, dedicated, professional.
I really love the culture. John Lydon (the MD) keeps the firm focused on improving quality of live and social inclusion in Australia and New Zealand.
The approach is very professional, putting client interests above our own, an obligation to dissent (to get the right answer), and focus on delivering impact. Part of the professional culture is continuous learning, and there's extensive infrastructure to help us learn and grow.
The adherence to client confidentiality (part of the professional culture) is important, but can be personally frustrating when you're excited and want to talk about your work with friends and family.
Advice to Management
Keep maintaining the high standards on professionalism, values and culture.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Melbourne) in April 2019.
McKinsey came to my school. We had 2 weeks to apply, got notified a couple of days after the deadline and had 2 weeks before first round interview which consisted of2 interviews back to back with Engagement Managers. Failed because of PEI.
