Red Energy Melbourne isn't hiring right now. Check out all Red Energy jobs
I worked at Red Energy full-time (Less than a year)
This review is for the energy company in Australia...not the PR firm.
-The company is definitely always looking to get feedback from its employees and offers a very fun environment for the sales staff.
-Cool break room with FOOSEBALL (I got really good), massage chairs, bean bag chairs
-Pandora playing in the background, you can change the music whenever you want
-A good base salary and a killer commission structure (by the end of my time there, I was making more in commissions per week than my actual base!)
-Fun, young co-workers from all around the world
-Good for travellers on a working holiday visa
-Lots of employee events (with an open bar), including a big annual formal event
-Smart casual dress: pretty much every day is Casual Friday
-You're selling a good product... Red is extremely competitive. You can feel confident about helping people save money.
-This goes without saying but telemarketing is challenging... if you have the guts to tough through the beginning stages, you'll get rewarded big time as your managers put more trust in you (and give you better warmer leads)
-The hours can be a pro and a con.. 11:30am-7:30pm means you can go out for drinks on a weekday but it also feels like much of your day is eaten up
-High turnover. You'll say goodbye to your colleagues a lot.

I applied online. I interviewed at Red Energy (Melbourne) in June 2020.
first would be a phone call, just a quick chat with the recruiter to hear about your background and work experience, then you get invited for a group interview where you showcase your skills and communication skills
