I have been working at US Army full-time (More than 10 years)
Many benefits, from medical, dental, retirement plan, education benefits, family programs, promotion potential, leadership training, and a lot of good experience.
Time away from home, and relocation every 2-5 years. Enlisted promotions to E6 are fairly easy to obtain as they are mostly based on time in service and individual achievements. Promotion to E7-E9 are board driven and influenced by many unknown factors.
Advice to Management
Look into making standard job certifications that can be used in civilian employment.
