    Pros

Good pay, benefits, programs. Just stay in shape, show up on time with a clean shaven face, be in the right uniform, and you're good.

    Cons

Away from home for long periods of time. The rotten apples of society often end up in the service with no where else to go and are usually the ones that make it to the top, prepare to spend years biting your tongue and punching walls, do what you're told no matter how ridiculous and you don't have to worry.
