    Sales Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Sydney
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Acquia (Sydney) in April 2015.

    Interview

I was head-hunted by the HR Director for the role. The process consisted of:
    - Call with HR Director
    - Coffee with Regional MD
    - Call with VP Sales
    - Presentation to Regional MD and VP Sales
All touch points were very professional and well-handled, and interviewers sharp. The hiring process was also fast and I received an offer 5 weeks from the first call.

    Interview Questions

    • Describe a situation which involved conflict and how you handled it?   Answer Question

    Negotiation

We had solid discussions about expectations before an offer was made, so the initial offer I received was close to the mark. Ensure you understand the value of the options package fully. Be careful not give away information that could be used against you in salary negotiations (e.g. Any limitations in your current arrangements).
