Interview was a group interview. Took turns saying why we wanted to work there and other standard interview questions. Ended with a timed task where we went to the floor to find an outfit we could wear to the office then easily transform it to be suited for a date night after the work day and presented it to the interviewer & other interviewees.

Why do you want to work here? Present an outfit you can wear to the office then to your date night when you get off work.

We’re excited to expand our ongoing partnership with Harlem's Fashion Row, an organization that supports emerging talent and provides a platform for underrepresented Black and Latinx designers. With our shared commitment to work with designers of color in the fashion industry, earlier this month we joined their second annual Designer Retreat. During the retreat, Head of Women’s Design, Omar Nobil shared what's to come from Banana Republic and Adam Mohamed, Head of Trend and Concept, had conversations with designers about their career aspirations and navigating the industry. We also announced the winner of HFR's ICON 360 award and recipient of a $10,000 grant made possible by our sister brand, Janie and Jack. Meet the winner. #WeAreBanana

While 2020 has proven to be a year of unprecedented change and opportunity, one thing remains clear for Harlem's Fashion Row and Gap Inc. - our shared commitment to help scale the businesses and work of designers of color in the fashion industry.
