    Application

The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Brisbane).

    Interview

Consisted of an online application before receiving notice to do an interview in my hometown. The interview was conducted by 2 employees and was very structured. There were some basic questions then 3 main ones regarding technical skill, problem solving and leadership. I was then invited to an interview in head office in Melbourne. Less structured but more technical questions.

Company Updates

  • Our interns are true brand ambassadors: from encouraging friends to upgrade to a higher octane fuel, to helping family members to download our apps. In the past 5 years, more than 6,000 interns and trainees have rotated globally through our company. It?s not the amount of time knowing a brand that makes it memorable or meaningful, but the experience with such brand. Those experiences could be from growing up, like in the case of Polina Popova from the Brussels Campus. She remembers how her parents used to go to a Mobil 1 workshop for their car maintenance. For Ankita Rao, an intern in the Digital Transformation team, our Exxon, Esso and Mobil brands represent a high quality and trustworthy product that is beneficial to her vehicle. For Omar Khattab from Calgary, the ExxonMobil brands represent performance, quality, and global presence. Ankita, Omar and Polina feel confident to promote our brands with their family and friends after learning about the quality of our products, the vast technology behind them, and the values of our company

  • ExxonMobil is working to help meet the needs of health care professionals fighting this pandemic on the front lines, as well as those socially distancing themselves at home. While those needs continue to evolve, the company remains focused on working to meet global energy demand. “On our offshore platforms, in our refineries, at our lubes and chemical plants and throughout our facilities worldwide, our people are getting the job done while protecting themselves and others,” writes Darren Woods, ExxonMobil chairman and CEO.
