Mission: FAST is committed to being a premier provider of software and consulting services to government agencies.
I have been working at Fast Enterprises full-time (More than a year)
-Interesting problems to solve
-One-on-one client interaction
-Great coworkers (never have had one I didn't like)
-Fantastic benefits and great compensation
-Moving around (could be a pro or con depending on your preferences)
-Lots of SQL experience
-Moving around (see Pros)
-Rigid work hours
-Not very technically rigorous for programmers; coding in VB.net with lots of proprietary functions has made me feel stagnant as a programmer
-Depending on the project, the work/life balance can get hectic. However, paid overtime eases that a bit
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Fast Enterprises (Sydney) in February 2016.
A simple phone interview. Very basic and casual. They just want to get to know you as a person. Simple behavioural questions and very light technical questions. The interviewer was very accommodating. Just brush up on basic object oriented programming concepts and SQL concepts and you should be fine.
