    I worked at Flight Centre Travel Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Opportunity to make money if you invest the time and effort
    - Great team environment and Company culture
    - Flight Centre invest heavily back in to their top performers
    - Great on-boarding program which gives you a lot of preparation prior to starting
    - Lots of added benefits and perks. (e.g. Opportunity to participate in "Famil's" in which you will travel to learn new destinations)
    - Lots and lots of incentives set up to push you to do better
    - Full ownership over your desk and enquiries

    Cons

    - A lot of persistence is required. Sometimes you can do everything right and still get the short-end of the stick.
    - To be successful you will almost definitely need to sacrifice on your work-life balance.
    - Location of store or office has a massive impact on how successful you will be.
    - Although lots of opportunities to move up into to new positions, a lot of the time you will be need to take 2 or 3 steps back for a while in order to move forward in terms of you're own desk/business.
    -High stress environment, leads to high turnover within the first 6 months.

    Advice to Management

    Really continue what you're doing. This job isn't for everyone and it takes the right person to really excel in this job. I would just say that try to avoid painting the perfect picture to new comers and set expectations early.
