Everything was pretty straight forward. Got a phone call and got booked for an interview. Arriving at the company, I was asked to fill a form and then asked some questions. It took about 30 minutes.

  • Residents of Bamford Grange Care Home enjoyed their tasty Macmillan coffee morning. Although we were unable to throw our usual Macmillan coffee morning, our residents still have a lovely time and enjoyed having a great selections of cakes to pick from. We put some Macmillan decoration on our trolley to create a lovely cake display. Our coffee morning was a success and we got some great donations for the tasty treats. Everyone enjoyed being able to give something back to such a great cause.

  • Wishing our lovely resident Jean a very happy 100th birthday from everyone here at Regency Care Home. Jean has lived a fascinating life, she was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and is the eldest of three children. She had a great career by serving in the Royal Air Force and later worked as a Clark in the railway offices. Jean married the love of her life, Alfred who lived to a grand age of 101 years. Jean enjoyed celebrating her birthday with her fellow residents and our team members. We made sure to make her feel very special by decorating our lounge with balloons, bunting and table decorations, all with 100 on them. Jean received lots of lovey cards and presents from her loved ones and of course a very special card from HM The Queen. We organised a party in the lounge and Jean opened up all her cards and presents. Jean’s close friend made her a lovely birthday cake and bought her champagne, which she very much enjoyed. All our residents and team members wished Jean a very happy birthday and toasted to her good health.
