Good company Values, and SHE culture which is delivered from the management down, and instilled at all levels, management always communicating change to personnel and informing them of issues or lessons learnt, pro-active with toolbox information meetings.
Supervisors and HSS team are visible in the field are always mentoring and ensure job is conducted safely
There are no cons working for Leighton Contractors there pay well with industry standard and deliver, so i can';t say there are any cons
Advice to Management
I found working in a multi disciplined work front that processes need to be Consistent across the department and not doubled up, this just adds to the confusion and working things out, keeping things simple gives personnel the best opportunity to 1) understand the requirement of the process . 2) be able to deliver the right outcome according to the process . 3) deliver an an on time outcome for both Company and individual performance and satisfaction
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Leighton Contractors (Chatswood) in June 2012.
Job listed internally first and they advertised elsewhere. First round of interview for those shortlisted , normally 3 to 5 candidates. Second round is only for the 2 shortlisted candidates and final is just a catch up between the senior management representative and the chosen candidate
