Mission: Since its founding in 1884 as New York Cancer Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has remained committed to patient care and innovative research. Our physicians and scientists have made significant contributions to understanding, diagnosing, and treating cancer.
I have been working at Memorial Sloan Kettering full-time
Strong responsibility, collaborative network, room for growth
Fast paced work environment, Cross coverage
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
I got called by HR for a phone interview. The interview was very easy. Asked questions like why MSKCC, and about past experiences etc. Know about the job you're applying for and make sure you attribute the skills required for the job to yourself. It goes quick, so make a great, lasting impression. An in person interview was scheduled the following week, where I met with the HR rep, and hiring managers. BE CONFIDENT! - I can't stress this enough. It makes the world of a difference. Don't freak out when you have to take time for an answer, or if you didn't understand it, ask them to kindly repeat it! it's better than answering the questions completely wrong. When answering questions, explain your answer so they know why they should choose YOU!
At MSK, we recognize and champion the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and the value it adds to our organization in meeting the specialized needs of our patients with cancer. We're celebrating #CNSWeek2017 by sharing the stories of our own CNS from across the Center.
Congratulations to Dr. Craig Thompson, ranked #4 on the Highest Rated CEOs list for 2017! This recognition represents a 99% approval rating from employees who left reviews on Glassdoor.
