I worked at Newton Europe full-time

    Pros

Amazing people. The company is full of down to earth, intelligent and fun individuals with great support and leadership.

    Cons

You are away 99% of the time. Mon-Fri (not weekends), but as you are away in a hotel you tend to do quite a few hours. Takes its toll after a while.

    Advice to Management

You guys are awesome, the best management team I have ever experienced. Kev, Andy, James, Tom, Steve are my favourites.

    Interview

Had a phone interview with HR Chief which was fine. Was asked to attend assessment day where I had to listen to the employees' rhetoric about how good Newton is...that's why I'm applying! Then did paper tests and team group activities which were fine. Was told I did exceptionally well and got through to the afternoon. The afternoon was appallingly organised. I had a face to face and then a case study to do with a consultant. The face to face was bizarre with the consultant asking about my personal life and nothing on my competence. I get that Newton want people whose life is more than just the job but to focus purely on personal life was just weird. The case with the consultant again was appallingly organised to the point where they had neither a consultant to do the case with me nor a room to do it in. This is what happens when you have no one with any authority in charge. The feedback from the day was helpful...
