I have been working at Olympus full-time (More than a year)
+ great colleagues from different countries in Europe
+ super atmosphere in the DACH-team
+ quite good food in the own canteen
+ a lot of time for the customers, no need to hurry
+ possibility to borrow good photo equipment over the weekend
+ good chairs
+ rich company celebrations
+ not too good and not too much benefits
+ quite low salary
+ strict hierarchy, with bad communication towards the employees
+ no refreshment automates, too short opening hours for the canteen - and no refreshment possibilities next door
+ location: too far from the city centre, no refreshment possibilities next door
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Olympus (Tulsa, OK (US)) in September 2017.
Was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen. Passed the phone screen onto the hiring manager. Hiring manager emails me for the first time on September 19th wanting to have a face to face in less then 24 hours and doesn't give me any other times, can only meet tomorrow. So of course, I move things around and was able to meet the hiring manager. He was 25 minutes late to the interview. Liked me well enough for him to say follow back up with him in two days to schedule a ride along with another rep. I left him voicemails, emails and texts and nothing back. Didn't hear a word back for for over a month and a half till I called him one last time and he finally told me they hired someone else. Extremely unprofessional .
