    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Orica (Melbourne) in March 2018.

    Interview

I had to go through three rounds of interview. The first was with the hiring manager over the phone to which recruitment didn’t give neither of us the facilitator pin so we were waiting on the phone for a good 5-10 minutes. I had to contact the recruiter via email to ask if it was still going ahead 15 minutes before the interview. Second round was also a phone interview with the hiring manager’s peer in which I was called directly. The third was face to face with the head of the function. Understand I didn’t get the job but the disappointing factor was no one had the courtesy to contact me (whether by phone or email) to say Thank you for your time. Quite disrespectful considered I did attend all three of their interviews as clunky as the process was.
