Mission: Our pioneering approach to our products, such as the Betfair Exchange, our bold marketing strategies and disruptive Paddy Power stunts have redefined the industry. But raising the bar isn’t easy. It takes big ideas and the courage to see them ...
I worked at Paddy Power Betfair full-time
Working with some great people, the opportunity to legitimately talk about sport as part of your role, getting involved in lots of different and exciting projects, good culture with a genuine interest in getting better and increasing engagement, smart/casual dress code, open philosophy of sharing information, great parties, good bonus, annual pay rise for good performers.
It was sometimes difficult to understand the reasoning of some senior management decisions, trying to get improvements to existing technology was difficult with tech time often allocated on a who you know basis or the next big money making idea.
Advice to Management
Don't be afraid to make tough decisions regarding personnel.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paddy Power Betfair (London, England (UK)) in February 2018.
I applied for the role of Assistant Store Manager at Paddy Power Betfair.
The process consists of 3 different steps. A phone call with a discussion about the role which they'll ask questions to test your competency, if you are successful from there you are then invited to an interview with a Talent Specialist. The interview will last about 35-45 minutes, you are asked a series of questions, why do you want to work for paddy power, where do you see yourself in 3 years, why do you want to leave your current job. The final stage is a meet up with the store manager to discuss what he expects from you and to confirm if you and he are suited to work together
