    Pros

Some good people but most people now see it as a salary rather than long term career.

    Cons

Don't want to hear ideas, management team spend too much time gossiping than supporting team, managers in overall HR function need training, pointless 1-2-1s nothing to do with YOUR development, micro-managed. People in senior roles who don't have a clue, no empathy with customers who are clearly struggling to make ends meet, where is their corporate responsibility and common human decency? There are better companies around who will value and appreciate you.

    Advice to Management

Train managers and start to plan rather than being so reactive. Value employees, look at engagement and company culture. Lost so much talent from the business which could have easily been avoided

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Provident Financial (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England (UK)) in March 2020.

    Interview

Sent my application online and contacted by phone to schedule a face to face interview. The first impression was not positive because the manager did not even know in which room the interview was held.
