I have been working at Purple WiFi full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great induction process and a terrific direct line manager, one who listens and gives constructive feedback, which includes the positive for a pleasant change.
I was given an amazing opportunity to fly over to Manchester to train with the team and was made to feel warmly welcome.
I'm confident that Purple can finally provide me with future career advancement after I spent many years in the contracting space.

    Cons

The vast bulk of the company is, of course, based in the UK so there's less time in day to bounce around ideas and seek support during initial training of new Australian based staff. This will become less of a concern as Melbourne builds up a larger, autonomous unit.

    Application

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Purple WiFi (Manchester, England (UK)) in October 2016.

    Interview

Very straight forward. 2 F2F interviews which were 2 way conversations, allowing me to find out as much about Purple as for Purple to find out about me. The first of which was mainly discussing what I had done previously, my motivations in leaving my current position and joining Purple. The 2nd F2F was to discuss the plans I had and what I could bring to Purple, at this stage we also discussed areas of concern in my application which gave me the chance to overcome any objections.

There was also 2 quick tests; personality and intelligence after the interviews.
