I worked at Scottish Widows full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The staff were great and the flexible benefits available were excellent

    Cons

Very toxic working environment with no consideration given to the staff. Treated in the main very poorly by team managers and higher up. Stressful with high levels of sickness

    Advice to Management

A huge shake up is needed. Don't just pay lip service to issues that are flagged up - address them!

    Interview

The recruitment agency does not care about people. I passed my interview and was waiting for a date to start, to find out that the agency cancelled me despite the high number of emails I sent them to chase my application....I told them I would contact Scottish Widows regarding this and they said I was again in the selection due to start soon and asked me for criminal and credit checks details. Unfortunately, after one month, with email and after I resigned from my job Katie told me that it is not sure I will have my job back. I have been damaged financially and most importantly I have lost my confidence.
