I worked at Siemens full-time (More than 3 years)
The culture was great with a smart workforce of locals and expats and opportunities to travel and work overseas. The local culture was also sporty and active. Access to R&D was unparalleled.
Tolerance to multiple layers of approvals and long timeframes for simple expenditure and client quotes was required, especially when compared with more agile businesses. Rounds of redundancies and business closures became destabilising at times for those leaving and those left.
Advice to Management
Keep marketing and advertising in Australia to increase the company's presence.
The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Siemens.
The process was online tests, online video interview and assessment centre. Everything very straight forward and the assessment centre very friendly. This last part was a group exercise, a presentation and an interview.
