I have been working at Thorntons (UK) full-time (More than 10 years)
Some colleagues are good and will help, nice to try different chocolates, if you get the right regional there can be development
Not enough hours to complete what's needed, no follow through of ideas they start one thing then stop. Higher management don't share enough and no on in head office answers the phone
Advice to Management
If the stores don't exist neither will you so get to know the people in the stores
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Thorntons (UK).
Really nice group interview process, employees were friendly and encouraging. They gave us some group tasks to do for example 2 truths 1 lie. I was called a few days later to confirm that I had the job and started a week after. All in all a positive experience.
