I have been working at UK Research and Innovation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Flexible working; offices in London and Swindon, with home working and minimal work-related travel
    - Hours can vary based on workload, but normally 9-5, or you can choose 8-4 or 10-6
    - Flexi time available; if you work extra hours one day, you can take them back another day
    - Good culture, very friendly people
    - Strong central analytical team, varied skills (economists, ORs, social researchers, stats) so lots of opportunities to learn from colleagues

    Cons

    - Public sector so pay not that high

    Advice to Management

Have more flexible pay structure to reward and retain good workers
