I worked at Urban Decay Cosmetics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Free product allocation
    Annual conference
Can have tattoos, piercings and bright hair
    Sometimes good commission at Christmas

    Commission isn’t great
No regular shift pattern (same as all retail jobs)
    Pay isn’t very good
    Not many progression routes
Direct managers often very young and inexperienced
Always seemed to be issues with stock

    Advice to Management

Need more progression routes for staff, need better management training, issues with stock meaning staff lose out on sales then get blamed for not making target
