Mission: "To create stronger and more resilient communities"
I have been working at Wiltshire Council part-time (More than 3 years)
Flexible working at home or local hubs.
Ability to negotiate part-time hours to suit personal circumstances.
Allowed to get on with jobs without being micro-managed
Less specialists, more generalists
Lack of incentives
Lack of pay rises
No team feeling
Lack of training and support after restructuring
Advice to Management
Develop a team spirit.
I applied online. I interviewed at Wiltshire Council.
20 minutes of questions with 2 interviewers mostly based around the behavioural framework and customer service. Highly focused on 'community' aspect of the job. Interview followed by an ICT test, testing research, accuracy and presentation skills.
This morning was the launch of the first Tai Chi session at County Hall organised by our staff engagement group #EPIC. Do you chia tea or Tai Chi in the morning? #LoveWhereYouWork
Happy Valentine's Day! We hope you're having a great one, we went dashing around the office to ask people what they love about working at Wiltshire Council, and there's a lot of love going around
