Company Updates

  • “Your opinions don’t matter, your actions do.” A few weeks ago, we announced period leaves for our female and transgender teammates. We are humbled by the discussion we were able to start in the community. https://lnkd.in/eUFxGQn https://lnkd.in/d4iGj6u As a business, and a women-friendly organisation, we are really happy about our decision. Our inbound job application rate has tripled (3x) since we announced period leaves. All of this increase is driven by women applicants. For Zomato, it’s the 3x number that’s important. We are indifferent to whether this increase comes from men or women. We now have way more great talent coming our way. Men and women are biologically different – they cannot be identical to each other. However, at least at Zomato, both are equal in value delivered towards the growth of the company. #EqualNotIdentical #Zomato #Periodleave

  • Here's to making Zomato more inclusive every day! At Zomato, we want to foster a culture of trust, truth and acceptance. Starting today, all women (including transgender people) at Zomato can avail up to 10 days of period leaves in a year. You can read more here: https://www.zomato.com/blog/period-leaves
