    Business Development Associate Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Zomato (Melbourne) in July 2015.

    Interview

4 hour interview process. 1 Group interview, then 2 individual interviews.

The process was very long. I was told there would only be 6 people interviewing for 3 available positions, however when I arrived there was 13 people. Wasn't told of the dress code, lack of communication and incorrect details made me worry about a lack of organization within the company.

The company itself is interesting, however I personally feel it's a bit hypocritical to say they hire all types of people when they are clearly only looking for one type. The questions given were obviously only looking for one correct answer, and if you couldn't give that, there was little you could do to get a position.

Recommendation would be to cut down the length of the interviews, eliminate people as you go so you don't have to have people waiting around for so long.
