I have been working at AHS Hospitality part-time

    Pros

Learn how to manage your time effectively. You can lose weight because it is a physical demanding job. You have to be a multitasker, not forgetting high level of patience as you will get other requests while still doing the previous ones.

    Cons

Stressful at times to fulfill guests, receptions and management's never ending requests and expectations. They seems to think that we can be everywhere at once and have 10 arms and legs.

I worked at AHS Hospitality full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Guaranteed work because hotels are constantly understaffed as housekeepers and supervisors leave regularly. Pay is legal (minimum wage) and they also give sick leave and annual leave. Good motivation to get a better job.

    Cons

Housekeepers and their supervisors and managers are treated as slaves. Worked to the bone every day all to maintain the company’s margin. You’ve never felt such complete exhaustion and humiliation until working a job like this. Condescending office staff that treat the housekeepers like babies (“Safety Stan!”) although these office staff would be some of the lowest quality of their own profession. Constant understaffing as people are constantly quitting and HR are so lazy and inept that replacing a simple housekeeper can take weeks, supervisors take months. Most useless HR team I’ve ever dealt with.

I have been working at AHS Hospitality part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Guaranteed shifts because the hotel is so understaffed because no one wants to work here. Depending on what hotel you are placed in, nice HOTEL managers.

    Cons

Unrealistic cleaning times. OHS goes out the door because of the above con. Stressful and so much pressure. Crap Pay.

I worked at AHS Hospitality part-time

    Pros

Shift Penalty: they pay more on Saturday and Sunday (if you are fast and good)

    Cons

Stressful and so much pressure. If you don't finish in time you have to work for free (+5 hrs) At the end of work you're so tired to have another part-time

    Negative Outlook

I worked at AHS Hospitality part-time

    Pros

nothing good about this company especially the ones that manage in Marriot Hotel named Grace

    Cons

They expect us to finish 10 rooms in time which is 5hrs but there is a 30min morning session so basically 4.5hrs working time. If u didnt finish it in time you have to work for free because she will force you to finish it and will give you an attitude. Took me like 6-7 hrs to finish it without break because im new ive only worked there for 1 1/2 weeks. Just terrible management on their part. Marriot should be ashamed on hiring this agency.

    I worked at AHS Hospitality

    Pros

Nothing comes to mind, if you are into slave labor and minimal wages this could be the place for you, they are good at being the middle man and squeezing you out of pretty much everything you as a worker are entitled to.They are a great company NOT to work for.

    Cons

Agree with other comments (cons that is)completely .Low wages, unrealistic times for standards required, little respect for staff, poor communication with staff. Do not expect any pats on the back, it will never be good enough, but they will be quick to jump you when things go wrong!, watch your wages, check your payslips , injured at work? do NOT expect any sympathy !! . If you are tempted to join this company think twice, you can do so much better !

I have been working at AHS Hospitality part-time

    Pros

Overall, everyone is really nice. AHS management team do a very good job in delivery housekeeping services given that they have to manage a large number of rooms at the hotel I work at. Resects diversity and inclusion.

    Cons

Unrealistic times allocated for room attendants to clean rooms. Room attendants sometimes sacrifice their occupational health and safety in order to clean the rooms on time. Barrier between room attendants/housemen and management team.
