    I have been working at AMP Limited full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Large company with a flat organisation structure. Enables opportunities to get involved in pieces of work across the organisation. Passionate people and a desire to provide meaningful outcomes to customers. Management are friendly and willing to listen to ideas no matter what level of the organisation you are in/at.

    Cons

    Far too many restructures from 2012-2017. Performance culture is lacking which results in the company always delivering average/sub par performance. Rem and bonus' are mid range, which encourages complacent people to stay and drives out high performers.

    work-life balance good Melbourne location management generally care about staff

    Cons

    like all big companies bottom line need to be met therefore restructures often mean staff on the bottom doing all the work will be made redundant but often no middle or higher management

    Pros

    Nice people and good pay, great location and reasonable work hours. If you can get on the one big project, you team will be well funded

    Cons

    over-committed to a single project, lack of strategic vision, pointless and politically motivated restructures. If you aren't on the one big project, your part of the business will be starved of funding. It feels like either leaders have no strategy or they have one that they won't tell teams about, instead relying on a trite "customer" message

    Pros

    The culture and people are excellent. Really care about the customers. Understand the new technology landscape and really truly want to use this to help Australians and New Zealanders. Some improvement in the IT landscape in the last few years.

    Cons

    Still too many silos - how about a restructure to get this sorted!

    Being part of a large organisation. There's a cheap gym. There's a small social club.

    Cons

    - Company only focus on cutting cost. - Restructure is the norm, expect at least twice a year - expect to work long hours with minimal support and pay
