      Where careers come to die

      Pros

      - Free parking - Somewhat flexible with the work/life balance

      Cons

Lots of cons here: - Internal politics and constant agile transformations cause huge disruptions to productivity. - We have capability coaches who are supposed to help with career development. They are brilliant for the higher ups, but are virtually non-existent for the underlings and are just an extension of HR. - No opportunities to grow or move up the ladder. Ideally, you come here for a while then move on. Any chances of promotion (in a good economy or not) are extremely rare. - On that note, the bank is more likely to hire outside or hire contractors rather than develop their staff. - The company's values are force fed to us like some terrible marketing campaign, but management fail to live up to them (One manager even tried to fabricate his position on LinkedIn until he was told to change it back due to internal pressure. What kind of person does that?!) - Extremely low pay for what you do.

      Pros

Excellent work environment. I felt at home working with ASB. the company appreciates the good work-life balance and caters for a healthy relationship with all level of management.

      Cons

Nothing in particular. Have seen issues with Permanent employees in certain departments where they were not satisfied with their roll. That's just one off. In general, employees stick in for more than 5 to 6 year. 17 to 20 years in certain cases.
