Pros

When they have work and get a great group of people, but wait for the shoe to drop

Cons

They will cut employees in a heartbeat. They do not look at workload, they just get people out the door without trying to keep people. Company thinks " if we have work they will come back to us."

Pros

Offers decent pay for engineer rate, office work environment is not bad, and some flex time. Sorry, I don't have a 20 word minimum here to satisfy this category because there's isn't much to say that's positive from a native company who are passive discriminatory against its non native work force.

Cons

The big picture: Native company run by incompetent natives and non-native management who are also incompetent will stop at nothing to follow orders and enforce decisions by the shareholders who's jobs are never at risk no matter how incompetent they are for fear of job security. The important details: Hiring managers make big promises to bring good talent on board and lie about long term employment, uses and abuses employees in respect to realistic workload, project team on engineering and design side is always short staff, fast track schedule and super low budget, engineering and design expectations are a total joke, working environment becomes extremely stressful, health benefits costs are expensive and coverage is so poor you will end up paying above $5000 for minor emergency care visits if cat scans or X-rays are done (beware), beware of amazing hiring offers and benefits package are only a tool for enticing you to come aboard then lay you off after they use you for a specific project, long term employees working there are very alienating towards new staff and expect you to do all the hard work while they sit around and surf the Internet, review your work when finished and only offer negative feedback after busting your butt designing and developing all deliverables from scratch so they can cut and paste your work on the future projects. Bottom line: Stay away from this cut throat native company if you're looking for a promising long term professional career because I can assure you this place only abuses the staff they hire to benefit the goals of the native shareholder business objectives. Every former employee I ever spoke to said they would never work for this native company ever again.
