I have been working at Air Force Reserve full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The Air Force Reserve IS what you make out of it! It can be one weekend a month or a career. I've been here 11 years and never had another job and now I recruit for them. It's an honest organization with great pay and great benefits with real world training.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons. Basic training was tough but well worth it. It looks good on a resume too.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Air Force Reserve full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great pay as a recruiter, and the best benefits that you can find. The Air Force Reserve is overall a class act, a great organization to be part of. Their missions are so important and vital, and they treat their people well.

    Cons

Military recruiting services take Officers with no business experience, skill, or talent in charge. Recruiters attend a world class recruiting school, and develop skills to hard work and effort. The management of military recruiting services is laughable. If a pilot walked into any corporate recruiting firm and asked to run the place, they would get laughed out of the building. But, this is how the Air Force sees it, "Oh, you're a pilot - why didn't you say so. Why don't you run this business into the ground..."

I have been working at Air Force Reserve

    Pros

Medical, dental, savings, travel and retirement are just a few. Autonomy, and a fast-paced environment with room for professional and personal growth.

    Cons

Senior level management can be out of touch with the day-to-day operations of a recruiter. No cash incentives for a job well done.
