I worked at Allianz full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Their Insurance product is vast and ample things to learn. Few Projects require long term onsite opportunities which is positive and vital thing about this organization.

    Cons

Partial Environment for Employees. Managers are favoring only few People for Regular Onsite Travel. Project Planning is worst which causes employess to come on weekends to meet the deadlines. HR Team is worst and some folks never serious about their job. Onboarding and exit process is worst because of only one employee in Allianz. Every employee faced multiple challenges during exit process. Don't join this company if you are looking for proper Work Life Balance.

I have been working at Allianz full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Free Parking, nothing else good to say

    Cons

Rotating shifts, no annual raises but constantly being reviewed. No work/life balance due to shift changes, wages are not consistent with others in the area. Favouritism from upper management.

"Big platform, however not enough development program for junior talent"

I have been working at Allianz full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Big platform with multi functions and business lines, which provides a lot of mobility and networking opportunities

    Cons

However, the company lacks a structured development program for junior talents. Hence more suitable for people with more industry experience and want to settle down / maintain a work life balance

I have been working at Allianz for more than a year

    Pros

No pros I can think of

    Cons

Lack of proper training and learning opportunities. It may be a dead end for job seekers looking for career progression. You are expected to know everything even though you just joined the company, no proper guidance and direction given from leaders. Decisions are always made last minute or when something happens and employees are expected to dive right in. The department culture defines "hard work" as at least 12 hours on weekdays. No work-life balance. Clocking overtime hours is the norm, without any compensation /meal allowance given. No appreciation from the leaders. You are expected to stay after 6pm. Workload will be increased if you are seen leaving "too early" even just for a day. In Allianz, you are not human being but a robot. Staying late in Allianz is considered a virtue. IT IS A SIN TO LEAVE OFFICE ON TIME IN Allianz. It has been a terrible and traumatizing experience to work for them. Whatever work you are performing, the micromanager is always looking over your shoulder. Should you ever cross or disagree with your manager, you are bound to get on the bad side and your work life gets miserable. Truth is always twisted and distorted by the management. No team work across the teams. Everyone works like machines and there is no interaction. No humanity. No human touch. And it is wrong to communicate with other teams in order to work together to get things done. You are expected to work on your own.
