    Negative Outlook

I worked at Allstate full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    There are not any pros.

    Cons

The environment is not ideal for those who do not strive on being micromanaged. Not only that but we are constantly interrupted by the owner to meet in his office once or twice a day. Before coming on board, we are also told we do not have to work weekends yet as soon as you're there for sometime, we are told to come in a Saturday before a holiday weekend just to make up for that day missed which makes no sense. There are no benefits and the owner will try to convince you to buy a life policy . You will also be told that it is purely sales but after a few weeks , you'll start to take care of customer service as well. The turnover is out of control. This agency has been opened for almost a year and I have seen tons of people come in and out, including myself.

    I worked at Allstate full-time

    Pros

Allow the sales producers to work from home.

    Cons

With my agency there were no benefits at all. Since each agency is individually owned, you technically aren't an employee of Allstate. So you don't get the corporate benefits. Way too much pressure to sell, sell, sell while also dealing with high customer service calls which sales producers are required to answer as well. Easily deduct money from your hard earned commissions over nonsense rules that were created, even though the agency is still getting their cut of commissions because of YOUR sale.

I have been working at Allstate full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Commissions are pretty good. Good pay structure

    Cons

No stability, no benefits, ran by individual owners who do things they're own way (sometimes not the right way) and expect you to handle all of their complaints.
