I have been working at Allstate full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great people, wide array of benefits, pretty good work life balance, has vision of how to modernize insurance.

    Cons

Commute to suburbs is pretty brutal if you don’t want to live up there (pre COVID). High workload that only increases after transformative growth. Layoffs which seem to be targeting more tenured employees. Technology which doesn’t work together across the board.

I have been working at Allstate full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good work life balance. Flexibility. No micromanaging. Virtual work from home options.

    Cons

Their technology is useless. Their tech support is useless. They expect you do you all this work but instead you sit on the phone with tech support for 2 hours just trying to get hour system to work. They don’t help you. Management is constantly changing processes, adding more work on little by little for no more pay, just busy work, nothing that serves much purpose. Salary could be a ton more competitive. They don’t pay cost of living benefits. Their health insurance plans suck.
