I worked at American Express Global Business Travel

    Pros

Working from home was appealing. Some staff were helpful.

    Cons

Minimal training which was rushed Rather than give you tools to succeed they do everything to see you fail. Staff with tenure spy on others in the team for no reason creating a childish environment. Negative and toxic working environment.

I worked at American Express Global Business Travel full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The name American Express makes you sound important to your friends and at social gatherings.

    Cons

Management is driving the company into the ground. They only care about what is good for them without any regard to the the impact on clients or their employees. Every aspect of the company is under-resourced and unhappy except the board room.

I have been working at American Express Global Business Travel full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

GBT has great people and good flexibility in Australia around where you can work. It's culture values are simple and effective and really easy for everyone to get behind. Also, the reward and recognition program through Achievers enables you to be seen when working virtually.

    Cons

As with any big company, we can work on agility, but I see this getting better and more innovation happening across all levels.
