    Pros

    Marketing led company, really look after their staff and you get to work with some of the best people

    Cons

    It can be hard to progress in seniority

    Excellent culture; flexible working; inspiring leadership team; commitment to career development; innovative; really collaborative team

    Cons

    Limited progression opportunities in the Australian market; US-driven strategy (although a more market-based approach is the new vision of Steve Squeri so this could change over time)

    I worked at American Express full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The business definitely promotes a flexible workplace and believes in up-skilling and nurturing it's employees. If you want a career with AMEX and are good at what you do, you could probably have a job with them for the next 50 years.

    Cons

    Very bureaucratic and political. I know other employees that really loved their job and the company, it just wasn't quite the right fit for me.

    Pros

    Fantastic company with a great ethos for customers and staff. Ability to transfer overseas and to work in many different areas. Collaborative culture.

    Cons

    Definite 'headwinds' in the areas in which we operate coming from regulation, disrupters and the general economy. However the company has been good at reinventing itself in the past 150+ years

    * Pays well, lots of opportunities to interact with different people. * People from the other team are normally very nice and willing to help you. * All people are working together in order to improve the bluebox value

    Very supportive leaders and management. They give you ample of space to work and innovative. Perfect work life balance, till the time your deliverables are complete, no one expects you to work after hours.

    Cons

    You could get a better salary elsewhere
