  6. "Supportive and Encouraging Workplace"

    4.0

    Recommends

I have been working at Anthropologie part-time

    Pros

The managers always showed appreciation for hard work and a job well done and worked hard to keep the environment fun and collaborative. Switching of tasks each hour helped make shifts go by faster.

    Cons

At the beginning, limited training can make the shifts feel a bit longer and boring, as there is less variety in the tasks you'll do throughout the day.

Former Employee - Seasonal Sales Associate

I worked at Anthropologie part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Sweet coworkers, great discount and overall good place to work retail. I've worked in places that were way worse.

    Cons

I wasn't notified of my seasonal departure, I wish the communication between leadership and associates was better.

    Doesn't Recommend

    I worked at Anthropologie full-time

    Pros

Some co-workers were nice. It was a job

    Cons

There were a lot of characters in management. High turnover. Not an office culture I would rush back to.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Anthropologie part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I really enjoy the culture at Anthropologie. Management is very flexible with your time especially if you are a student. They are real people who understand real situations that happen in life.

    Cons

Customers can feel very entitled which is something you'll experience in any retail job but it seems very intense at Anthro, probably because of the higher-priced clothing items.
