I have been working at Anytime Fitness full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free gym membership, autonomy in some areas, tight knit team, multi-faceted role. If you’re in a busy club your days go quick. Uniform is nice. Positive work environment, working with likeminded and health-centric people.

    Cons

As a manager they expect you to do too much. Be a sales consultant and be an operations Manager. Even though the role is diverse and autonomous, owners get the final say on the big matters and when they delay improvements or injecting much needed funds into the gym-you are the one held accountable by the members which gets tiring. Renumeration is poor for what you do. Feels like you do everything while the owner reaps all your hard work. Be aware that your overall experience will depend on your franchisees, no two Anytime Fitnesses are run the same.

I worked at Anytime Fitness full-time

    Pros

Good pay, flexible working hours to lifestyle, company car, petrol. Depends on your franchisee.

    Cons

Very sales focused, high pressure, no personal privacy and very corporate attitude. Once again depends on franchisees. Most clubs hire just 1 manager and no other staff, therefore workload is way too much stress on 1 person.
