I worked at Apex Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

No pressure from managers. Calm office environment. Some colleagues are nice and happy to help others. No challenging tasks, good for people don't like pressure.

    Cons

The IT system is very slow and unstable. Pay is obviously lower than the market. No solid and systematic training. No trust between management and frontline workers. Micromanagement style to make sure workers are fully occupied. Advice and ideas are not welcomed.

    Pros

Central location that is the plus

    Cons

    - toxic atmosphere and culture with managers who are extremely arrogant and Aggressive - they need a reality check and remember that they are in a fund admi company and not on Wall Street - not a good Company for ones mental health -poor systems that keep crashing , long hours , unrealistic demands , arrogant managers that can be very aggressive - poor facilities - not enough space in the kitchen , not enough toilets for the number of staff and it always seems that that there’s no toilet roll there when you need it - poor Title structure - people get glorified titles with little or no pay increase - unrealistic workload - huge staff turnovers - more than I have ever seen in any company - management try to sell themselves as this big player in the industry - the company is a joke with no structure in place - a Company that’s extremely cheap -PLEASE AVOID - worst place I have ever worked in !!

    Pros

Growing company . Scope of growth if you are able to bootlick managers or are flawless.

    Cons

System s are slow. Management is politics oriented.willing to scape goat people for their own benefit Arrogant and aggressive managers with no professional etiquette. Unrealistic demand from employees. Make people login in weekend as well whereas the managers are themselves not available for most of the time. Hell would be a better place. All the performers become under-performers due to such a obnoxious environment. If management is not changed, difficult to be a growing organization. No training plan for new joiners. asked to sit for OJT from day 2. expected to pickup and become BAU within 2 weeks. Don't join in this company to land in jeopardy. All employees new in Apex.No te ured people are there who are more than an year and half which makes it very clear that no peole can survive this.

I have been working at Apex Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are good people working here and plenty of social opportunities. The healthcare benefits are quite nice and the company provides sponsorship for the ICSA qualification (provided you have worked for the company at least 1 year). The Company pays overtime at a 1:1 rate, regardless of when the overtime occurs.

    Cons

Salary and bonuses are well below market rate, salary increases are minimal to unnoticeable. Having too few staff per team is common and the Company pushes back on all attempts to rectify this causing plenty of overtime. Poor communication from higher up the chain, things just happen and staff are informed afterwards. Disparity of salary between staff is very common, to the point where more experienced staff in a higher position may be getting paid less than those they are training. Any discussions in this regard are pushed down the road and not answered for as long as possible.

I have been working at Apex Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Location is central and that is a positive

    Cons

    - unrealistic expectations from management - high staff turnover - no recognition for hard work - promotions based on how much you are liked - legacy employees favoured (DB) - too many changes and mergers, with support functions within the organization not ready to integrate everyone - no work life balance - interviewers portrayal was nothing like the actual job sold - step back in career
