    I worked at Appen for more than a year

    Pros

    Flexible working, tasks were interesting and easy to complete. The title is also good for my CV.

    Cons

    No stability, the project could end at any point. It also takes a long time to be added to a new project.

    This position allows you to choose your own hours/days as long as you meet the daily/weekly requirements.

    Cons

    The work is tedious and repetetive. There is occasionally tech issues which hinder you from working. Training is very long.

    Make your own schedule and pay is decent for what they ask you to do.

    The training is a pain at first and almost quit, so glad I didn't give in.

    20 hours a week, decent pay

    Cons

    Company expects lots of unpaid training via email, calls, etc. Hard to meet expectations and still get work done in time allotted.
