I worked at Aptify full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

People are finally snapping out of the bubble and finding better places to work at instead of stay at Aptify

    Cons

Culture change occurred early 2016. This just brought down the spirit of the team and demotivated even the most hard working team members. Worst part is the politics. Managers and HR both play so many games its more like a reality show. Some managers go to the extent of posing threats to fire us. When raised as a concern this was completely manipulated by HR.

I have been working at Aptify

    Pros

Work from home is a great policy so people are not held accountable for their responsibilities ; ) nothing else

    Cons

Everything is con. Product is so out of date. Technologies are old. Managers are worst. HR also worse. Salary is avg Long hours are expected. Then you should lie to clients for making targets. There are no ethics with managers anymore

I have been working at Aptify

    Pros

The company seems great at first glance. People seem friendly and open. Great promise of good culture. That's all so short lived.

    Cons

There is a very close knit circle of the original employees and managememt. No room for anyone new to make their way there. This group has already decided how projects should go. Even if u point out a fundamental issue with this u will be met with agression. Suddenly u have no skills and all ur old successes will be manipulated as failures. Its a scary environment to be in.

    Pros

There are literally no pros. As much as managememt claims the issues are due to transition, it is completely untrue. Issues have been around for a year now. And no one pays any heed to concerns.

    Cons

Culture. Male chauvinist. No flexibility. Pay not up to market. Politics. No growth. Ridiculous hours. Immature managers. Outdated technology. Toxic environment.

    Pros

Company got taken over. Hopefully there will be a purge of all the non essential seat warmers and retention of pure talent

    Cons

Existing management and HR needs to go. Unethical amd political. Employees will be blamed for all the managers mess ups. HR will then play further politics and ensure employees are cornered. My colleagues reached out to HR and escalated and were then made to leave with all the harrassment . Please do not join here until the managers are replaced

I have been working at Aptify

    Pros

    There aren't any . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    Cons

Managers set unrealistic timelines with clients. Make unreasonable work hours the norm. When the client questions anything, we consultants get thrown under the bus. Cluless about the product and how to run a company - there are higher powers ar work due to which consultants are being forced to leave and managers are retained.

    I worked at Aptify full-time

    Pros

To be brutally honest, good old Aptify was really good with a thriving work culture, mirroring the vivid culture of Australia per se.One will get a chance to work with various clients(prospective employers?) and build a good network.

    Cons

This company is an absolute joke. Before even you think of applying here, do yourself a favor and check the attrition rate.People are leaving faster than greased lightning. With absolute scum floating at the top of Australasia office upper echelons, no wonder why people are using the ejector seat. There is no respect or recognition for any individual's contribution here.A day starts and ends with only one thing, politics.A day in Aptify Sydney office can yield enough dough for next season of 'House of cards".

    Aptify Response

    August 26, 2016CEO

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience here at Aptify. I am glad that you find value in our workplace flexibility! There is certainly a fair amount of work pressure on our Consulting team, and they consistently rise to the challenge, and experience very rewarding outcomes! Because everyone in leadership is well aware of the challenges of working on the consulting team, we strongly encourage team members to use their Unlimited PTO benefit to balance out the high pressure time periods. We would prefer you take a much needed vacation than to face burn out. If you feel the pressure is too great, or would like to talk about specifics, please reach out to our Director of Culture + People, Julia Lang, or to me directly at 202-368-0533 or amith@aptify.com. I'm always happy to talk to all team members! Thanks again.
