    Pros

The organization did make sure that their Au Pairs did not work overtime or were being taken advantage of by certain families, which was great.

    Cons

The lady responsible for the Au Pair's in my area only cared about the host families, not so much about the Au Pair's. So it was a bit frustrating when one of us had a problem.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and continue to treat your assets as well as your liabilities.

    Pros

Work from home, your own hours, decent benefits

    Cons

A little hard to keep up, too much time spent in front of the computer, not worth it for the small salary.

    Advice to Management

They should pay their Counselors better.

I worked at Au Pair in America full-time

    Pros

good way to get to know a different country, opportunity to take classes (although very expensive)

    Cons

Th families I worked with, as well as what I heard from other Au Pair friends, really treat you like an employee. Everyone tells you that you are part of the family, but when it comes down to it, that's just not true. You can be thrown out (and would have to leave the country) at an point, if the family decides that. You are totally dependent on them (money, car, food, CURFEW).

    Advice to Management

    More supervision of the families.

    Pros

Beautiful experience that changed my life and my life perspective overall. I was lucky to get a good and fair family .

    Cons

Not a lot of support from the program , they are more interested on satisfying the families. I barely saw my counselor , I don't blame her they are not well payed.

    Advice to Management

Support more the au pairs .
