    Pros

    Great for work life balance.

    Cons

    Red tape. Now run by accountants and HR, very little regard to engineering objectives. Senior management very reactive.

    Good work life balance....that's about it...work can be interesting People are generally nice

    I worked at Ausgrid for less than a year

    Pros

    the people are easy to get along with made some really good friends I liked my manger good work life balance always felt like a valued employee

    Cons

    that my contract ended and so did most other people with a contract, this caused some other people to be fearfull for there job

    Pros

    Good perks - 9 day fortnight with RDOs for award staff Salaries are competitive, but less so with restructuring People are friendly Good work-life balance

    Cons

    Ongoing restructure - asked staff to take on more with less pay Career progression is limited Bureaucracy and somewhat autocratic culture - lack of empowerment by so called senior managers Lack of business and growth strategy - no visionary leadership or direction

    Work life balance and employee security are top notch. Excellent benefits. No need to look for another place to work.

    Legacy based culture, nepotism culture, "promotion from within" attitude, slow career growth path.
